Welcome to the Concorde Book Award 2019 blog.

Last years winner, Joshua Khan.
The Concorde Book Award is for anyone in years 7 to 9 at secondary school. A really important part of the award is that young people are very involved all the way through; from choosing the longlist and the winner to giving presentations at the award ceremony.
An important and competitive element of the Concorde Book Awards is the Concorde blog itself. Students from South Gloucestershire Schools are invited to engage with each other and the shortlisted books, by posting their thoughts and opinions onto the blog. During the award ceremony the visiting authors will read everyone’s comments and vote on a school to win the Concorde Blogging award. Last years winner was Abbeywood Community School, who will win this year?
Happy Blogging…
